Solar panels should face the sun – yes I know that's obvious but where do you point the panels when you install on a cloudy day?

The equator that's where. In the Northern hemisphere point them South and in the Southern Hemisphere point them North. You do have a compass don;t you?

Just because solar energy is clean green and is the future is no reason to expect to get funding as fast as they did.

This is an amazing development that took me by surprise and now looks practical.

We think nothing of seeing a roof covered with solar panels. It seems odd really to see a roof being wasted by not having solar panels. So where else is being wasted? Well of course the roads are not panelled – but they could be.
